Saw it walking the dog. Wife was talking to me, but I was not listening to a word she said.


Cockeyed exhaust yes needs fix, but looked to be no major rust issues from across the street. Compromises right?

So I have to repost this picture again because it's my taste to a tee. I love it because it looks rough but not TOO rough, and it's super tastefully done. Fantastic wheel choice and I would wager that there is thoroughly modern LS running gear under the hood. I could totally see doing a project like that some day. Thanks for the pic, George!

My dad had one of those and it was one of the first times I ever drove a stick shift in the woods when I was like 14. He only let me go in creeper gear and he walked alongside the truck. I love the look of the quad light setup on these, looks mean. Here is my dad's before he sent it off to scrap when I was 16.

He had a utility bed on the back and a spare tire mounted on that bracket in front of the grille. It was a mean ass looking truck I loved it. He wouldn't let me have it though.

Mine back in the day… 327 bored .040" with a 212 cam, Duels, Munci 4spd, 3.73 L/S, P/S and P/B. Not fancy but fast enough!

Thanks for thinking of me, Tony! My wife and I drool over them all the time but they're not as practical for us because they don't have slide-outs or much floorplan variety, like a bunkhouse for the kids. Maybe when we retire and don't want/need as much space. By then ours will be nothing but soggy wood anyway. They sure are well made, though!
