The number of illegal modifications I see around here, amber marker lights are very, very low on the priority of things to pull one over for.

I am exceptionally illegal at the moment with my truck, no front license plate, dark side windows and I still have not installed this year's registration stickers.....

I don’t mean to litter my trashy Tahoe in this thread of $$$$ but I daily drove this thing for year with this light set up.. yeah I know the passenger side was wiped out. Never in my days dealt with trouble for not having amber lights

I know it’s illegal that’s not a question.. but It’s extremely locational in my opinion whether they’re gonna mess with you or not.

Our V went back to the dealer today. Passenger side power step has a mind of its own. Sometimes it comes down, sometimes it stays down, sometimes it does nothing. Driver side works perfectly. Also had them change the oil since we just hit 1,000 miles. Just to make sure all is well.

I’ve heard the steps have been hit and miss on these rigs. We have a 21 Tahoe and they’ve been fine. My 2019 Silverado had power steps and did a similar thing to yours it sounds, the motors and sensors went out on both sides at 25,000 and 30,000 miles, they replaced at no cost cuz under warranty.

I couldn’t even order them for my ‘22 according to my dealer

the passenger side step motor went out in our 21 AT4 when it was just out of warranty...sounded like a goose honking every 10 seconds
