Was the custom paintwork just to the badges and emblems? What did u use on the orange reflector? I tried to do mine in window tint and it did not go well, need an easier tactic...

I did not do his reflector. Just the v logos, front/rear emblems, and Escalade lettering.

My V we dark smoked the stock reflector. It’s almost pure black. I wasn’t concerned about the light from it.

You must be fun at parties.
Exactly why I don't want to provide any passive reasons for the fuzz to pull me over...
Did a ride along once, and it was a DUI saturation event, literally at every traffic light, the fuzz looked around for any reason to stop someone...including having a license plate frame that covered up too much of the plate...so yea, I am fun at parties...and want to get home unencumbered.

Wow ok, so first of all mine are functional and have a DOT stamp on them. The Yeti cannot respond at the moment because he's on the run from the federal side marker task force.

That aside, taking exception to the legality of side markers because you want to drive under the influence after a party is quite the logic, alongside 'I don't speed when working as drug mule.'

Nice looking V. Maybe I should design some rear diffuser fins for the AT4 like I did on my M5 F10.

Looks sexy as hell.

I was thinking the same vossen rims for mine but in a 22" (damn MI roads). How easy do they seem to be to clean?

Well, cleaning is more a function of spoke design than size. This model has plenty of space between the spokes so it should be as easy as it's going to be. Just ceramic coat them before mounting the tires that way you can get to the barrels and you should be fine.

You could, you could also see if the Escalade V bumper can be swapped to your truck. The only thing I would say is I'm not sure how well those will work in an off-road themed SUV like the AT4, but that depends on your sensibilities. :)

I didn't say I was under the influence driving after parties....you inferred that. I just don't like to have to deal w/ being stopped; unless I broke the law, which I don't...esp when it comes to DUI...I follow the guidance of my good attorney friend: "If you drink anything, don't drive anything."

But, generally...just don't like to be stopped; it ends up taking time, can be uncomfortable, and research has shown, you could even get arrested even though you are NOT DUI...so why risk it.

Not asking you to defend your decision to alter your ride...to each their own..but, the requirement for side markers (both the lamp and the reflector), is that they be amber in color... and placed "as far forward on the side of the vehicle as is reasonable" and meet photomy specs.

For the legal requirements for side markers, See 49 CFR 571.108 (Excerpts below) and search for "reflex reflectors" and "side marker" All of the requirements are well documented, including area, photometry, measurement points, etc.

And, I am still fun at parties!

Define Crazy...

Live in SE Minnesota...we are all a little nuts for living here between January and March

Some really bored officers. We have bigger problems here than amber lamps that are DOT regulated.

But I Uber after parties so i think I’d be safe. And i love talking to police officers. So it’s a win if I get stopped

You guys know it’s a federal legal requirement to have an amber front marker light and reflector, right?? Do as you please, but I never like to create any “reasons” to be stopped by the fuzz…
LOL, with all the clowns around here with no amber markers and no front license plate and front tinted windows alone the cops would never have time to write any other tickets.......
they don't care, but pro-tip if you are doing something illegal use your brain these morons around here will be transporting and get snatched up for even the smallest infraction of course having a gun in plain sight and being obviously paranoid just helps them more.....
