My memories of the Escalade are it was the favorite of the rap-music crowd for quite some time.

The newer ones I see in my rural area are driven by middle-age women.
Though the rap crowd adopted it as a symbol of wealth or status. There's much more old people in the world than there are rappers. And the wanna be rappers can't afford a new one, so they are buying many year old clapped out ones. I've bought the 3 I've owned either new or 1 year old. The first one I was overlooked and the salesman walked right past me and shook my dad's hand when it was announced I was there for the appt to buy my Escalade. I was 25 at the time, my dad just went, "I'm not buying, that's him, I just drove him here".

I picked up a '26 Denali Reserve in September. Very happy with it. I would take it over a couple-year-old anything. The suspension is incredible; I pulled a 6200 lb trailer with it, and truck just shrugged it off like no big deal. MPG average is 22 over the 2600 miles I have driven it, including the 500 mile trip with the trailer in tow.

If I could have avoided the executive middle row (I was not given the choice), I definitely would opt out of that. These seats are very comfortable, but don't fold down.
I forgot to ask you. Did you just stick with Mag Ride suspension or did you add on the Adaptive Air Ride?

I have to say at 25 any of these trucks new is stupid money unless you have enormous income or need tax credits.

I had basic vans and trucks for most of my prime income producing years. Up until my last purchase, because at the end of the day they are severely depreciating asset that will be negative draw on your net worth and at 25 you are just starting to create wealth and your retirement situation.

I bought a High Country in 2024 when I was 69 years old and at this point in my life I can afford to spend stupid money and trade in when the factory warranty expires.

At 25 if you are making high 6-7 figures and able to fully fund your retirement for the next 20 years then you are way smarter than me so disregard everything I posted.

Mine has the adaptive air ride. It is quite seamless. It really stood out the first time I towed a trailer with it. Definitely the best tow vehicle I have owned or used.
