Can't tighten upper ball joint nut

I can't fit an Allen wrench in the space between the axle and the bottom of the bolt. I also tried applying downward pressure with a pry bar and it still keeps spinning.

I'm getting crazy pissed here.

I might go ahead and remove the CV shaft at this point.
