The AC compressor belt came off again. The tensioner feels weak to me even though I replaced it a few years ago so I bought a new AC Delco OE. Im not sure if the last one was OE. Hope that fixes it.

Well folks it’s Labor Day 2021. Which happens to fall on my birthday, the first time since 2010. Which also happens to be the day I officially retire. I QUIT HAHAHAHA WAAWAAA WAA WAA.

I finally came to the conclusion I’m never going to convert the interior lighting to blue LED since the 02’s are really hard to do. So the blue cluster got converter to white LED. I think it looks cleaner.

I put white LEDs in my 01 cluster and it looks blue. Did you do anything else or just put in LEDs?

That’s all. Do you have an aftermarket overlay or an Escalade one? I know at one point I bought an Esky gauge face/overlay and didn’t care for the chrome and it also had a blue tint to it. Try removing the face and see if it’s tinted.

No overlay, all stock Denali. Maybe a difference in color for the gauge from 01 to 02? Not a big deal for me, I was just curious.

Thanks! And also, mine has a slight bluish tint but it’s very light.

Got a dusting of snow a day late for a white Christmas. The Beast did awesome in it as usual on my grocery run this morning. Kinjo did great too in his native environment. His AWD was working as designed.

Yeah I saw there’s extremes in different parts of the country right now- record heat and record cold. Mother Nature is angry.

What bulbs did you use to do this? I want to do my Escalade gauge with leds. Kinda afraid what it might look like with the blue cluster.

Mines an 02, it takes 194 bulbs that just plug in. That changed in 03. I got them off Amazon.

We’ve had snow off and on for two weeks now with a couple inches Christmas Eve night. Thankfully they had the roads clear by mid day when my mom and I headed back up the mountain from my sisters house in riverside. Traffic wa so sane though both coming up and going down the mountain… and of course it was all the idiots from LA that leave their common sense in LA…. Lol

You might or might not need new twist connectors. I followed instructions in this thread and they call for new connectors but iirc the old ones work fine. If you do need them, just search for 194 bulb twist connectors.
