Has anyone who does any kind of towing swapped out their foldable lighted OEM mirrors for something better suited for towing a trailer? Either doubles or an extended setup that still works with the mirror switch? I have a set of the molded “clip on” style that work fine, but I’m looking for something different.

Swapping to the factory tow mirrors was/is a big thing, at least in my parts. Power/heated/signal/folding mirrors were unicorns and priced accordingly.

I get 10-12 mpg in town doing lots of stop and GO! I wonder if I changed my driving style??? NAH... Stomp n' Steer!
the only time I got better mileage was when the Silverado was lowered, I was getting 15-20+ all the time, driving the exact same way. after the lift it halved the mileage, that was all aerodynamics

I accelerate hard all the time.
I can get it down to 7.5/8 average if I try harder
that's bringing back memories I used to transfer cars from los angeles to san diego for a rental car company, crazy days back then they would take a van full of us to LA and we would race back, lol always had extra time to go cruising the beach and stuff before I had to turn the car in. We used to transfer ryder trucks back then too and we figured out how to disable the speed limiter fun times...

I towed my car on a uhaul car trailer. Not the dolly. Used regular mirrors just fine in my NBS. Have yet to tow with this but I don’t see myself getting different mirrors or anything to do so. I was able to see everything needed with the mirrors the truck came with.

They are out there, my 2010 came with them. Be ready for blindspots especially at 4 way stops

I agree but I hope the build quality is good for the rest of it I can deal with the turn signal part, maybe they didn't do it because these dam yukons have some weird wiring for the lights, remember the issue with getting the resistor working correctly?
Probably something like that because they did use LED for the Morimoto NNBS Silverado ones. The DRL has a separate optic that uses amber LED’s that can be run sequential or constant on/off. I think if they could have done that with the Yukons, they would have. Too bad I have so much $$$ into my retrofits, I’d like to see what these look like but they ARE $1000.

As much as i like those, they're no longer on my list. They're pretty expensive and i can get the output i want for less with an HID retrofit. These are sealed units, so if the bulb goes out you have to replace the whole unit is my guess

I looked at how high my Yukon sits, and...

Does anyone know if NorcalSS is still in business? I came into an unexpected windfall this week, and went to order my lowering kit (2-3/4 w/ Autoride), but his website doesn't properly handle payment any longer. I emailed him directly, but no answer. Aside from piecing together a kit myself, is there any other good option for a one-stop solution?

I think I saw that his website got hacked or something. Maybe shoot him a PM.

I added the manual folding tow mirrors...added a big corner bubble to the convex mirror. I can see Everything from my rear tires up to the B-pillar essentially.
So anything far enough forward I can't see in my bubble, I can see out the window.

He hasn't been on here since April. Not a good sign. Sent an IG follow request and a text earlier today. I guess I'll research building my own kit in case he has ghosted us. TYF still lists him as a supporting vendor, so there's hope...
