What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I knew I had 2 tpms sensors out on thecopcar. I took it in for tire rotation and sensor replacement. Turns out the other 3 were so weak to testing gizmo couldn’t read them. Screw it, replaced all 5.

5? Is the spare usually equipped with one? I never knew this.

Mine is. I rotate all 5 tires when I do it to equalize wear. Actually my original spare even had one, although the tire aged out before it even hit pavement.

Interesting. I'll have to keep this in mind when I ever break the bead on the spare.

so far they are only for the gmt900 yukon's, I know they make some for the k2xx Silverado to make them look like a 19+, but I like the 16-18 style better anyway, and of course the Silverado tail lights, nothing for tahoe, suburban, sierra's yet.....

I found an "SS performance" cluster at fixmyguages.com. It has a 140MPH speedometer and a 700rpm tach.

That’s nice but it’s only for the NBS cluster of 03-06. I wish they made em for the NNBS.

ya summit had the best price I checked all over and have been window shopping for them for a bit, I hope they are bright enough or are as bright as my hid's, one of my oem housing has a spot of cancer so that's my excuse for getting new one's lol

Today I replaced the spur gear and motor for the driver's side folding mirror. Being cheap I opted not to just buy the housing already rebuilt so there's a bit of fiddling to crack open the housing and install the motor and gear, but it was well worth the $160 savings. The old plastic gear had a slick ring all of the way around the center of it and the motor wouldn't spin it anymore.

I just took my time removing the gear and motor from the casing and since I don't have a vise or arbor press I improvised but didn't put my eye out.

I couldn't get the puddle lamp connector to come off but just removing the bulb, connector and all worked fine.

Gruven has some great products! Sure with GM sold these with the Hoe

Drove it on the beach, a lot. Camping on the outer banks for the week. These trucks are competent in sand with AWD.

Installed LED replacement bulbs in my fogs today. Now they're the same color temperature as the mains. Light output is good, with no hot spots. They're made by JDM Astar, and got good reviews. I like 'em.

It's more likely to be an actual leak than a faulty pressure sensor. Maybe she left the cap loose recently, fixed it, but the code is resting at "pending" status until the drive cycles are completed?

My daughter loves the Morimoto fogs I got her for the Sierra.

Last night, after dinner, a Service Four Wheel Drive message popped up on the DIC. Would not shift into Auto or 4WD or anything. Turned it off after we got home, scanned it and got code B2725 but it passed on next ignition cycle. Going to replace the switch anyway. Also found code P0452 hiding in there, it too passed and started working again. Now do I buy just the pressure switch or a whole new fuel pump assembly and lock ring?

Your Tech 2 can read the fuel tank pressure sensor value. If you want to see it change, check for response by running an evap purge and seal.

Alternatively you can command the purge valve open and the vent closed while idling to see a change.

Searching for advice. Need to travel about 50 miles to get my tires replaced. How much damage will i cause if i run the stock 17" (265/75R17)spare on the front left while my right side is a stock size 22" (285/45R22)?
Its a 4x4 but stays on 2wd most of the year unless we see heavy rain.

I vaguely remember this difference in size being and issue. Can't remember if it was for awd vehicles only

I’ve had a leaking seal at the output shaft of the front diff since I bought it. Driver’s side. How hard is that seal to replace? Can it be done in place?
