2012-2014 they went to the 1 click cap.

I actually can't hear or feel that 1 click, but just tighten it like the other. No codes so far.

So not only did GM cheap out on the GMT900 by doing away with some of the basics that the GMT800 had, like cabin air filters and lights in the door panels, but now I find out that the 2012+ were also cheated out of two extra clicks on the gas cap??? What a bunch of cheapskates.

Makes me glad I have an '08... having all 3 of my clicks makes me feel like I got my monies worth.

Not only that they deleted the door panel safety reflectors! which used to be actual courtesy lights on the gmt800's they went from having one on each door on the 00-02, to lights on the front doors and reflectors only on the rear doors 03-06, penny pinchers hard at work

Don't forget they went to the stretch belt to cheat us out of a tensioner.

Well i hit a deer a few days ago and it cracked my pass side bumper cover pretty good around the fog light.

Anyone know if the “Replacement” brand cover is gtg or not ? Or have any suggestions on a decently cheap capa aftermarket cover ?

just look for one that is "capa" certified, that means it meets oem spec

While i had my grille inserts removed, i thought it could use a screen.

I'm sure this will probably cause more problems than it solves, but it's worth a shot... :jester:

I used this stuff.

Then some fine stainless steel "safety" wire to make sure that crap stays in place.

Lots of holes in my hands!
That safety wire is just fine enough to crawl under your skin if you're not paying attention.
It's not a good feeling.
