Where do you have room to stretch its legs? I would have to get onto I 94 near Port Huron to get a clear stretch.....in my ZL-1. Which is coming back to Mich. in about a week....
lot's of places between here and Bakersfield going south, it's mostly flat farmland or small hills, or north of Sacramento to about Red Bluff also a lot of flat farmland
going south is better though lots of no-mans-land out there roads that are virtually empty, just Hector and Jose farming cabbage or something lol
some of those area's are lucky to just have a gas station, otherwise it's like a barren wasteland.

You mean like all of southern California used to be before they added water? :lol2:

the dry weather pattern is somewhat normal, but getting more spread out. Used to be about 7 years it would fluctuate from dry to wet, now it's more than 10 years it is dry this year we didn't get much snow in the sierra's

Don’t want to try the Motive round universal one I linked? You could probably switch to a rubber strap to hold it down if you don’t like the j hooks.
Yes. That's what I put on my birthday wish list (my birthday is Saturday so I won't have to wait long).

What about the universal cap though, for the Toyota?
STOP SPENDING MY MONEY!!!

Once I use it for the Yukon, I'll consider the universal one. Looks like the supplied hooks are crap. So If I've got to devise a clamp anyway, I may just build my own adapter from scratch. One Amazon review has a nifty setup made with PVC pipe and rubber gland clamps.

Thanks. I helped my father-in-law build it starting back in 2009 and we completed it in 2011. He passed away last year and me and my wife are really the only other family members that are into cars and take it to cruises and shows.
I bet it was nice knowing that you two got to connect with a shared passion. Reading through that post gave me goose bumps thinking about my father. He passed back in 06’.

One question though…where is the “mount” or “holster” for your tommy gun? I couldn’t see either of them anywhere in the photos. Sure is a beauty though! And somehow the younger generation wonders why we marry a woman with curves.

Anyone replaced the rear output shaft seal on the NNBS (AWD)? Mine does NOT have the aluminum DS, but I may replace the yoke while I’m in there, as I remember some of you discussing issues regarding this topic before.

Is the tool used for the rear seal the same one used on the front? For some reason today the internet gods are only showing me the front seal and tool, no info on the removal of the old or the rear seal installer tool p/n.

Thanks in advance…

Which one of you took that fourth motor Mount to motor bolt that I can’t for the life of me seem to find?

Did you try those O2 sensors out?
I just got mine today, denso marked
Seems ok there, but the pn on the box looks weird.
And the sensors don't have the expected little plastic protective cap.

If i were to guess, these are fakes.
