Check all the pins at all the connectors and make sure there's none bent. Especially the connector at the bottom of the unit.

I wish I wouldn't have been in such a hurry.

That's the thing with my life. Never time for me to do the stuff I wanna do at a reasonable pace. it's always in a hurry! And I screw stuff up in the process.

Trying to remember where I've heard that before.

Well I've been trying to access my card on an older laptop. After finally being able to download that MCE program and install it, I'm running into problems getting it to run. It says something about specifying another memory area, like D000 or D3FFF.

I don't know how worth it this all is. I am looking for my order confirmation on the replacment card and will chalk it up as a lesson learned.

Awesome. There’s really no need to pay again for this. (And wait)

Ideally he should be able to use that other program with the Tech2 hooked to the PC and flash his existing card with the updated software.

Now, I've never done this, and that Mem Card Explorer program didn't show folders/files on the card, just all the data in binary/hexadecimal and memory ranges when viewed. I did save the memory card "contents" to a file, which the program gave a .bin attachment type and it was 32mb

Our friends over there are fast and have already shipped the card. That just means this will work.
