It was a busy day. All new Amsoil in the diffs, transfer case & tranny. And some speed engineering long tubes because I guess I like pissing off the wife [emoji2371]

It's been a crazy few weeks. But we celebrated Easter yesterday, leaving today free for some truck upgrading. So I swapped my hazed, leaking OEM headlights for new aftermarket ones. I went ahead and upgraded the bulbs with PIAA 4000k ones per recommendations from other TYF members. Removing the bumper cover wasn't too bad. But I hopefully won't have to do it again anytime soon.

Night shots to come after I aim them. Yeah, I know I need to wash it. But it's pollen season in the South. So I probably won't bother for a couple of weeks.

Oh I did. 3 to be exact! Two were easy enough with a pair of vise grips but took awhile to back out a 1/4 turn at a time. The last one I needed to borrow a buddy’s bolt extracting chuck that clamps the stud tighter as you loosen. I wish I could post the video of open headers [emoji16]

Nighttime shot. Aim was spot-on right out of the box.

They'll take a little getting used to. Visibility is much better. But there are hot spots. And the sharp cutoff of the beam pattern is not what I'm used to. I do like that the lows stay on with the high beams. Overall, it's a good upgrade over stock.

Now I need to upgrade the fogs and add the jumper to keep them on with the high beams.

Well you’re right. Was the engine mount. How bad is it to change it without pulling engine?
You’ll need a floor jack and a block of wood. Jack up to the engine to hold it. Disconnect steering shaft and get some wobbly sockets. It even easier if you take off the exhaust manifold so if you want to you could order some long tubes like I did [emoji16]

Also it easier if you’re 2wd, no diff/axle in the way. Can’t remember what variant you have of these rigs.

As much as I’d like to put headers on this too I can’t. Spent all my modifying money for this year already.
