I figured NOT the factory ones, because those don't seem to work very well. They seem too low.

No they are the factory ones and I get zero door dings other than the chips of the paint along the edge. It is really easy to refinish, versus the door acne you get without them.

Here is a picture of a car with them, not my car, which is parked outside tonight so not easy to get a shot.

Mine has those also, but they seem too low. You would think they would be a bit higher, closer to the fattest part of the door. The couple scuffs/dings on mine are located in the area between them and the handle.

Maybe Denali’s are a little lower, not sure. Mine literally work perfectly. The only metal work I have ever gotten was on the rear quarter behind the gas fill door. That took a paint less chip repair to straighten out.

It is too bad I can’t take a picture of my car’s protective strips, because with a close up, you could count the number of tiny paint chips in the edge left by knot heads who tried in the last year or so to mark their territory.

The only problem with lowering the truck...need to move the door dinger protection up. :D

Last time i had something this weird, the driver was supposed to be at work due to a work release thing from prison.

Went out of their way to try and bully me out of insurance.

On this one,
After the fact, I'm thinking dui.
Super weird, they didn't want me to get plates.

Also possible they are just fkd in the head.

The whole "he is a man" comment weirded me and the good Samaritan out pretty badly.
Maybe they/them used to be a girl?

I don’t know. I like the chrome so I will replace it sometime soon.
Check ebay I bought one from there fairly reasonable, whats absurd is the chrome trim on the running boards if you have that option, and removing them and putting them on a has to be done in the right sequence or they just break takes 4 pieces and I think they run about $100 a pop
