Take a close look at the plugs for your cables on that tech2. Some of holes in mine had plastic molding flash that was down in them. Made for a flakey connection through the candi. I cleaned em all carefully with a pick.

I'll def check that out. I didn't use the candi module tho.
The Tech 2 made it so easy. I think I'm gonna do my van. That thing always runs like shit. Idles at 450 rpms. Can't hurt.

I ran out of grease, and I noticed there's a zerk fitting that's missing on the ds, for the inner tie rod. Also I think I need to replace the ps lower bj zerk. The grease wouldn't go in.

I was thinking about @wjburken's suggestion about flattening the Y a little bit when I took these pics.
Ps lower door sill. It's not bad yet, but give it another year!
Temps were 62 today. I'm glad I got it done, rest of the week is gonna be lousy, and they're predicting we might get a snow storm. PERFECT

Years ago I had an 89 Bonneville SSE. It was my commuter. Lived in Pa and worked in NJ. Did 200 miles a day in it. It had the 3800 and 4 spd auto, and it ran like a top. Mechanically I never had a problem, but it nickled and dimed me to death! I wound up just giving it away for free to a fellow Bonneville forum member.

She's a spiteful *****! Ohh, I used the Tech 2 to pulse the abs and I was messing with the auto bleed. I didn't do it physically, but I just wanted to try to work the bubbles out of the abs.

If you wait on the tie rod end it will do half the work on its own and remove itself. Than just slam a new one on it.
