Cool. I’ve been wondering about those guys.
Do you have to purchase a TIS license to see that stuff on ours? And use Tech2 as pass through?Tech 2 arrived.
I hooked it up and ran the self tests and such, in the house, before going out to the Burb and playing with all the menus.
I think I turned my TPMS monitors up to 45 psi from the 32 psi it was programmed to originally, but I'm not 100% sure... lol
I set the front and rear tires as P metric standard and changed the pressure to 45 psi but when I go into view the data it was showing 148 psi. I'm guessing this is because I didn't drive the truck afterwards but not sure.
Any insight on the TPMS from anyone who has changed the pressure it expects to see would be great.
I also looked for the transmission oil life % monitor so I could reset it, since I changed all the fluid out but didn't have a way to view it or reset it before. I can't seem to locate that in any of the menus. Maybe the 4L60E doesn't have the % monitor like the 6L80E???
the tisweb license is $40 for 2yrs of programming (per vin), it's only for doing calibrations if one or all of your modules needs a update or if you need to calibrate a replacement module to work with your vinDo you have to purchase a TIS license to see that stuff on ours? I ask because last time I tried mine it wouldn't give me the options for the 07. I had bought it to set timing on my OBD-1 6.5the tisweb license is $40 for 2yrs of programming (per vin), it's only for doing calibrations if one or all of your modules needs a update or if you need to calibrate a replacement module to work with your vin

Been a little while back, I will plug it up tonight and refresh my memory..wouldn't give you what options?
OBD-1, wasn't '95 the last year for that? Does the Tech2 work on OBD-1?

I just tried mine and i can get it to open and select but tells me candi mod not connected. Ran diagnostics on candi and it says pass but won't let me do any scans. No TIS needed for what I was doing.
Yes it does.OBD-1, wasn't '95 the last year for that? Does the Tech2 work on OBD-1?

I tried everything i could find to read and it passes all the "test" . When i try ti do any diagnostic test it starts to populate the screen then says candi module not derected.

I did double check the connection and they are latched. I will try a little dielectric grease later. I have had my fill tonight.. early morning coming. The connectors to the CANdi module and the Tech 2 cable can be VERY difficult to get together. I had to put a little lube on mine and work them quite a bit to get a good connection. Hopefully you can get the latch to latch; mine gets close enough to work.
