I like the red one but you might need three arms.

I wonder if it was conventional oil and not synthetic?

For at least the first three years, our oil was spec'd as a blend and then they went to full synthetic. The dealerships "should" be using full synthetic to stay in the good graces of GM.

Im passing on the red one, they wouldn't be delivered till December. But they are copies of Texas Speeds. They are out of stock on their site. And yeah I just thought of the three arm thing that wouldn't work.

Synthetic. Same oil used in my wife's equinox that requires the dexos oil.

I was just curious because the head and valve cover looks kinda dark/carbon caked compared to mine.

Here is mine with 260k miles for comparison and I run 13k-15k mile OCIs with Mobil 1 extended performance oil...

This was my original valve cover on the bottom and the Updated valve cover on the top...

I have only had it for a year and half. Who knows what the owners before me did.

where u buy the emblem and does it just pop off and new one pop on? Mine are scratched on both tahoes and would like new ones.
eBay. No you have to dismantle the airbag. It’s easy peezy. The packaging is FTB. Rattling inside the box loose. It is covered in plastic you need to peel off and one thin layer of tissue paper.

I just got a P0741 code- TCC stuck off.

not going into lockup. Is this something that flipping the TCC valve around can fix? I know thats a trick with 4L60e trans.

edit: may have just lost the trans. Shit
