My dog is pissed! - doesn't understand why we are not going for walks. It’s been 3 days here, but they said maybe in another 3-4 it will clear up. It’s gone past the orange phase to where it just looks like dusk all the time. Pretty dark.

He had picked up and old flathead v8 and wanted to start another project, a pickup this time. He had the flathead rebuilt, balanced, blueprinted, etc so it's like brand new. The shop that was doing it contacted my wife via Facebook with their condolences back in April, saying that they have the engine done and we can pick it up whenever convenient. The work was already paid for.
I went up last week and picked it up, it's now sitting on a cradle in my garage. We are thinking of building a '35 Ford pickup to put it in. Oh, I also have the 3 speed trans that goes with the flathead.

Damn. Condolences man. I’m so sorry. The car is beautiful.'33 Ford 2 door Sedan.
Chevy ZZ4 350ci crate engine (355hp)
700r4 trans
Ford 9" with 3.50 gears
My father-in-law and I built it from the frame up about 10 years ago.
He lost the use of his legs about 2 years ago due to diabetes and hasn't been able to drive it. It's been sitting covered in the garage. He passed away in April and we've been getting it up and running. The fuel lines were all brittle and needed replacing.
Some of his old car show buddies are dedicating the show to him tomorrow and me, my wife, and her mom are going and I'm taking the car and going to enter it into the show.
We're excited, but we know there's going to be a lot of teary-eyes.
My wife drove it home from her moms and I followed. She said I'm driving it tomorrow because it's hard for her to steer (no power steering.... Lol)![]()
