Those kids should be the ones doing junk yard runs for you.

Hell no! I clearly said it was my happy place. MY happy place. Bringing them there would mean an impromptu visit to the ER, tetanus shots, various viral and bacterial testing...

The only kid I wanna supervise in the junk yard is ME.

Let me put that on the list of why I'm glad I don't have kids.

#47,853: They will ruin my junk yard relaxation time.

Back to the bump stop bonanza. The new bumps are massive honestly didn't think they would fit. Ended up drilling and tapping the bump pad on the axle as opposed to where the others were mounted on the frame. Not much room before they hit on up travel but since they are progressive it might not be harsh. Guess I'll find out tomorrow on the way to work.

I have never seen bumpstops that big on a NBS. Wow.

Any idea how big the factory bump+bracket is? These look massive but are really only 5" tall so they might not be as big as the OEM ones.

If they are to big I'll try cutting a slice off them and go from there.

I do not. I cut the entire bracket off when I lowered it. ( free travel mod) Who cut yours off?

I cut mine off myself, could have done a better job cleaning the frame up afterwards but I was rushed wanting to get the axle swap done.

First impressions of the big bumps is that they ride stiffer than a preachers ******. Kinda seems like they cause the rear to bounce more but I'm hardly awake on my drive to work so I will see how it feels on the drive home. Plus I didn't get a chance to launch in 1st to see if it cured the yoke problem.

Rack caps and appliques are painted but he told me to wait another day or 2 so they fully cure.

Been working on the crust caboose and found it had "custom" wheel spacers. :banghead:

Thanks I can't wait to install them and clean them up properly. Believe it or not leaving the paint shop I saw a black Tahoe squatted with an esky rack. Looked good but I'm still on the fence about leaving the chrome.
All about personal preference. Me personally, I'm not a fan of chrome. That's just me tho.
