the uppers need to offset, building a set of lowers would probably be easier
Spohn sells them as a full set or separate if you want to get an idea

Yeah I’ve heard of those Spohns failing under high hp applications.Yeah I have their boxed and bushing lowers which are nice but I've seen some issues with the uppers and would like to avoid spherical joints if possible. Theres a guy in PT.net that built himself a set for his H2 rear swap in a Tahoe. He said he can make me a set but I'd like to source them local if I can to save shipping and be more hands on.
His are 3/4 plate boxed with a ruff stuff rod end on one side and a bushing on the other.

Ok so the front appears to be at 5* downwards. View attachment 253938
I wish I had a decent yard here! They’re all terrible. And hardly an NBS or NNBS can be found. [emoji19]Cool! I thought it was exclusive to the higher trim models- Denali, Esky, maybe Z71, etc. That opens up the possibilities.
My local yard is an LKQ U-pull-it, so they don't keep note of specifics such as trim around glass, etc. I give 'em $2, pass the turnstile and the hunt is on! They're decently well-organized so I just head to the sea of fullsize SUVs.

I plan to get new stock lowers and extend them to center the axle in the opening. I'll use the originals as splices/fish plates and box in the underside. I plan to build some adjustable uppers with some poly bushings I already have on hand, scrap DOM and some tube adapters and bushed ends from a suspension fabricator supply (Barnes 4WD, Ballistic fab, Rusty's, etc.)
You need your pinion to be pointing up around 3 degrees.
Of course, these numbers will change if you move the truck elsewhere. If you do, just re-measure the front and make the rear pointing up at the trans about 2 degrees less.
. I definitely agree my pinion angle is partially the reason the yoke eats the evap thingy but maybe the bumps will help until I get UCAs.I wish I had a decent yard here! They’re all terrible. And hardly an NBS or NNBS can be found. [emoji19]
.Same here.
LKQ is my happy place. It's only about 15 minutes away and $2 to get in. In a past life that yielded more free time, I would go browse just to get ideas. Sometimes I'd be approached by someone needing a tool and, since I'm there just BS'ing around, I'd go give 'em a hand. You never know who or what you'd run across.
You sir are a stand up guy. I've never had anyone at a junk yard offer me any help.
Thank you, and that's a shame. Everyone swimming together through the sea of discarded vehicles are brethren and... sistren? lol
I'm a much better giver than a receiver. Jenn can vouch for that![]()
No it means he doesn’t LIKE his gifts. He said better giver than receiver, not more prolific.I don't get it. You mean there are more gifts under your Christmas tree that have your name in the from spot not to to spot? So your basically like Santa?
