Before using rtv, I'd try to source one locally and send that one back to RockAuto next week.IM ******!! Can I RTV the old one?
On a positive note @iamdub only 3 of the bolts were tight the rest were loose.

Agreed, that's what I thought also when I first saw it.the red stuff is the foam breaking down... yank that shit @89Suburban
These things rarely go as planned. Sorry for your issues but I’m sure you’ll overcome. Don’t feel bad- the first time I installed my blower which is a real ***** due to the placement of some of the bolts by the firewall that are nearly impossible to get to, I found out the “extra” intake gasket that I didn’t see a need for nor any way to install it WAS actually needed, they just forgot the extra instructions. It all had to come back apart.tHIS WHOLE PROJECT HAS BEEN A SHIT SHOW FROM THE BEGINNING!!!! Ok found a gasket 15 miles from here......
They must've got their instruction cues from DJM! Don't these assholes think we consumers need directions to put their shit together? Oh I know--we're all mind readers. These things rarely go as planned. Sorry for your issues but I’m sure you’ll overcome. Yes! Must do this...Ooh man plug those intake runners fast! Don't feel bad though, they all pretty much look like that. I have a solution though- replace that crappy intake manifold with an upgraded version like this one. Just tell the wifey it's so the engine stays clean.View attachment 248338
HOT DAMN!! How'd you finally find it?I finally fixed the driver airbag issue on my Silverado- it had an open wire in the harness between the driver airbag and the module under the driver seat.

I'm getting a P300 code, thoughts? Engine light is flashing as well.
Alldatadiy- used the wiring diagram and troubleshooting guide for that DTC. Then tested between the 4 wires at the airbag and the module under the seat. One wire was open, probably cut somewhere along the route.HOT DAMN!! How'd you finally find it?
I think you have a misfire...
You probably also have the ABS light on and traction control/stabilitrac off.
All the plugs nice and tight? Bolts too?Yes traction control light, flashing engine light. Could there be air trapped in the fuel rails? Possible to put the wrong plug on an injector? Everything looks legit, no leaks, good oil pressure.
