Let air out the other one so the front is lower and it'll be easier to work on the top of the motor.

Are you referring to the green intake manifold gasket? Should replace those.

How much oil is in your intake?

No I mean those 2 foam pads on the underside. Intake ports are full of carbon/oil crap. Remember I have 322K on this and only had the oil catch can installed about 6 months now.

Looks like that rear steam port block off is seeping coolant too, got new gaskets for those too.

Hmmm...Don’t remember seeing, let alone, doing anything with those when I had the intake off on my 2007 Denali. I have learned something today.

That sux ass. That foam is supposed to keep out dirt and moisture. Heard it causes problems. Some guts leave them in, some take them out. What's all that red crumbly shit in the valley?

I don't know what that shit is brah, I know my shop vac just ran for the hills, I got to go chase it down LOL.

Those foam pieces are supposed to stop stuff from getting under there, you see how good they work. Get rid of them. But seriously, stuff rags in those intake runners on the engine before something gets in there. That’s the first thing I do when I pull an intake.

I don't even think mine has those foam pieces, as I can see quite a ways under the intake into the valley. Maybe they stopped installing them.
