Maybe it was O'Reilly and maybe it was just my local store. Anyway, my neighbor borrowed one for his sensor. This was 6-7 years ago, though.

Just broke down and bought the left rear wheel arch for rust repair. $87 for the part and probably a small fortune to fix and paint

Awesome. I’m officially pissed at GM. After tearing the entire dash out of my truck to replace my ac evaporator temp sensor to fix dtc b3933 I found out from a TSB that I don’t have such a sensor in my truck, the replacement HVAC head unit I installed last month needs to be programmed via TISWeb and my Tech2 or that dtc shows up and the ac won’t work. No wonder I can’t find that sensor.

Oh darn...

If you’re that deep into it, the sensor should be a piece of cake. Use your metric crescent wrench.

Let air out the other one so the front is lower and it'll be easier to work on the top of the motor.
