How hot do you think that'll get in the middle of summer? Sitting out in the sun for a while, get in, go to close the door and "ow, shit!"

I know the metal buckles on the seat belts get hot sometimes.

True. Maybe glue a thin piece of felt on it.

"Are those just wear from shoes or pant legs rubbing when getting in and out?"

From my high heels......LOL

Heck I don't know I bought it that way...The running boards were jammed. I had extra wrap....bored...

EDIT: You really step UP into the Denali. On my Camaro SS you climb DOWN into the seat.

I would say the "H-Point" of the Camaro is about 2feet lower than the Denali....

Look up H- Point - its the occupants hip point which all cars are designed around....

They aren't exposed to the sun. They are on the bottom to the inside. They are so hidden I cant get a pic of them once installed.

Did my first wash in several months. Its been clear skies in the 60's for a while. Washed it good, hit it with Sonax Fallout Cleaner to remove the embedded carbide junk from the highway snow plows (they wear 1" per hour). I'm surprised how well that Meguires Hybrid Wax lasted all winter. I can tell by the Sonax treatment not looking as bad as the previous winter. This stuff is pricey but is cheap if you buy it by the gallon. Was like $70 IIRC from Amazon.

Your telling me... they are all glued and melted together... can't really pull any of it apart without some serious work...

Best I was able to find was where guys are using expanding foam with some reinforcing inside. Mine wasn’t bad enough to go there. Be a good winter project to try to perfect a fix.

Dropped the rear today, belltech springs, shocks and relocation brackets. Gna do front knuckles and front shocks tomorrow. How are you guys doing the free travel mod on the nnbs tahoes? Gas tank is maybe 1/8" from the frame and I'd really like to not slip and put a hole in it.

Bought an enclosed trailer yesterday. Being that the trans is Rebuilt I wanted to see exactly what was going on with key systems of my vehicle. I repurposed an old tablet and loaded up torque pro. This time, I actually spent some time playing with it and configuring it to a way I wanted. Versus just adding displays to see if it worked. Turned out to be a nice driver display addition.
