Dropping the truck off tomorrow for an exhaust. Probably just gonna go with a magna flow muffler since I dont want to go much louder than stock. Also gonna have them remove the cats since my truck is exempt from emissions now.... well see how that turns out

You will need to have the downstream cats deleted via a tune or it will throw codes. I just inquired Blackbear about that on my Silverado since I just bought Kooks with a cat less Y-pipe and they require a signed affidavit stating the truck is off-road only, to protect their asses I’m sure.

I'm gonna try the spark plug antifouler trick for now until I can get disposal funds for a tune. I just bought a house so money is tight

I recall this being brought up a short while back. Do they have a general/blank affidavit that we sign or does it have to be more official than that, like getting it notarized?

IDK, they just sent me an email today stating they need that and a data log after I install the headers before they can update the tune with the sensors deleted. I am about to reply but it takes a few days before they answer.

The folks at GM gauge repair replaced the overlay, I think that's what makes the display look like that.

In order to run the white LED you need to replace the overlay, the oem overlay has a blue tint over the gauges. Look at the picture below

Boy, oh, boy..... That website is a candy store!! Nice prices...
No kidding. Damn I really need to get off my ass and get my gauges fixed. Super dim...

Blackbear just now emailed me a document via DocuSign that I was able to fill out and sign online. It states the truck will never be driven on the road and that I take full responsibility if I get busted by the EPA for removing a smog control device. It just covers their ass. It’s not like the smog police are going to come snooping around my place. Cats be damned!

Nice! Glad it's something easy. I fully understand and agree to why they do that. Really, I'm most apprehensive about how to e-sign such a document. I bet this and the other computer-related aspects are gonna be my biggest hurdles in getting a tune.
