I’ve been working on swapping from an LT to LTZ interior on my Silverado and today I made a custom switch bezel for the driver door since I couldn’t swap the LTZ harnesses over so I had to mount my LT switches in an LTZ bezel.

Picked up, inspected, and put the engine braces that were picked up from the powder coater yesterday. Flight leaves for LA in a few hours. Time sure flies when i am home. Need to order some fasteners and plan to have those installed when I get back.

Overall a productive few days and time off.

The engine braces for the Duramax where done and packed up. I can install those when the Duramax arrives in LA in the next few days.

Fully agree! I personally have a Wixey angle finder reviewed by ProductAdvisor that I am finally beginning to use, mostly to help me find new or forgotten locations of objects. It is a great tool for first time finding. If your angle finder is not self zeroing, be sure to do that, and then you are set. The Wixey is very compact and works well. It's drawback is the brightish green display on the model I have.
It really aggravates me also when I lose my angles!

I cleaned my garage today to make room for my new Sierra Elevation...

Also, UPS came today and delivered my new Wilwood Brakes for the Denali. Pictures don't do justice, these 16" rotors are HUGE!!! Can't wait to install them, big things coming this spring including lighter weight 20" wheels and drag radials. I'll be well on my way to running that 10 second QTR sooner than later.

I have always run Toyo Open Country but have been tossing around going to Nitto next time. They have the same parent company so itll mainly come down to price or looks.

I test fit my hybrid d pillar trim this morning. Turns out they dont fit without the hybrid tails. Come Sunday I’ll put both on and see if they clear the non hybrid hatch, and then take them off again until I can get some hybrid tail lights and pray to god the hybrid tails work with the stock harness.

the tail gates are the same but the slightly longer wing disables the glass .. the tail lights are 5 pin just compare it before doing anything (the lower light does not come on with the brake light it's a turn signal only)

Took the tahoe into the mechanic today. They diagnosed the upper ball joint as the reason for my front end noise. I’m having them do both upper control arms. They’re doing the right side under warrenty and I’m paying for the left side. It’ll get re aligned too. Tire rotation at the same time. Woo hoo. The kid that checked the car in said while they don’t like the spacers on the car, they’d either put them inside the car or just put them back on and not mention them so thats great.

Unless they were crappy spacers, they wouldn't do any harm. Duallys have much, much bigger spacers and nobody bitches about those.
completly agree up to a point. Quality spacer no different than a wheel with the same amount of added weight/offset.

Just out of curiosity how much did that cost you. My bushings are shot so I need to replace soon. Looking for how much I need to set aside.

total estimate for just uppers and alignment was $500 but they did it under warrenty. That was for a whole ass control arm

Does anybody happen to have the part number for the 4L60e deep pan with the drain plug? I noticed mine doesn’t have a plug, (I didn’t think any of them did) but this one in a 1A Auto video DOES have a plug in it.

Replaced plugs on the 2013 XL Denali. Has 97695 on the odometer. Old ones don’t look too bad.
