Interior drone is my reason for the resonator. Outside i could care less how loud it is.

Oh does it drone a bit? Stock muffler without cats or resonator doesn’t really drone hardly at all. It does a little bit but not really anything noticeable especially if its windy outside

Did the SLP resonator delete the other day after Camelcamelcamel sent me an alert that the SLP tips had dropped to $90 on amazon. Definitely sounds louder, though the tone really doesn't seem that much different. Now I'm fighting the urge to throw a Flowmaster or Magnaflow muffler on the Hoe. I've read that this muffler from AP Exhaust is basically just a $50 version of the Magnaflow:

Also got the oil changed a few days back. Was planning on doing it myself but one of those Take-5 shops opened up near my house and mailed out a 50% off coupon. I ended up getting Mobil 1 Extended for a little over 50 bucks, which is less than the cost of the oil and filter on amazon. Supposed to be good for 15,000 miles, though I probably won't push it that long

Over 16 months with my XS1259. Still lovin' it! I've looked at it countless times since I have my Tahoe up on the lift so damned much. No corrosion or rust or anything, but I don't have salt here, either.

The SLP delete was one of the first things I did to the tahoe. Summit racing had em on sale around new years for like 110 which isnt bad either. The thing sounds really good around 2K but is still quite on the highway. I do feel like the tips arent as big as the dual Corsa tips I had on the truck. I keep kinda wanting to swap the muffler out but i told myself no....keep the tahoe quiet-ish.

Several years ago I had the SLP on mine, too. They looked good but were a pain to keep clean so i took them back off and just run with the exhaust turned down just past the rear axle. I didn't notice any significant noise change between the tips or no tips. Chopping of that resonator makes a very slight difference but nothing significant. The resonator at the rear is just an ugly dingleberry that should have never been hung back there. LOL

Well I just put the bedliner spray paint on the hybrid d pillar trim because im too cheap to buy a new can of paint. This stuff doesn't have much texture to it so hopefully it won't look too bad from 3 paces away from the vehicle. I don't think it will look really all that noticeable once it has a bit of road dirt on it especially to a normal person. That said I would for sure be more happy with how it'll look if I actually went and got some gloss paint but really I just wanna get the roof rack off and these on.
