I replaced my selector switch and front actuator awhile back and everything was working for awhile.
Now today all of the lights are on and stay solid. I can't shift in or out of 4wd.
Any ideas what would cause this?

OEM switch
can you post a picture of the switch?, if it's the same as the 00 you can try holding down the 4wd or 2hi button and then start it up, then release the button and see if it switches, the lights may stay lit up but you will be able to tell by driving or listening it engaged or disengaged if it does then it's the switch for sure.

I also try the holding down of the switches but nothing
ok well it was worth a shot, one of these guys I tagged will answer back at some point with some other ideas or more info.
have you checked the wiring harness's under the truck? did you drive thru any water recently? if the harness got wet it could be causing a issue.

How long after you swapped switches did this current phenomenon begin? Have you pulled the positive cable off your battery as a sort of re-boot? Are you able to put a scanner on it to see if it has any codes?
