Well, Yesterday I pulled my tune out, went and looked at a Esky 2012 with 46k Esv... Drove good, they tried to take my head off on my burb but I got them up to something that was almost bareable, But the esky was well priced for sure..... Still undecided... the 6.2 and miles are the main things going for it... I'm rolling 450 miles a week on my burb, 123k so its adding up fast.... Just don't know if I will be happy with a fully loaded Esky platinum vs my LT burb, and having a car payment again.... Beating my head against A wall I guess...........On the way to work the burb pulled 21 mpg.... Its career best ever trip to work... She sure isnt making the decision easy.

A 2012 Escalade with 46K and 6.2 sounds very enticing. That being said, I would keep the LT Suburban and the lack of payment. At 123K, it’s just getting broken in. Out what you’d put towards a payment away and after a while you can step up a few more model years or have enough not to have a payment on the next one.

Almost exactly what I was going to post except the money you put away I’d save for maintenance items your Burb may need as you drive 450 miles a week. They’ll run forever if you just keep it maintained. For what it’s worth, mine has 217k and is running like a top.

I went through the same, sorta.... i wanted a long body and a 6.2 so i was gonna dump the 13 tahoe for a long esky but since the hoe was paid off and finding something with close to or less mileage (65k at the time) that wasn’t beat up or a livery tool that idled all day was hard and everything i did find was crazy money. Having a pymt on a older model vehicle kinda didn’t jive with me. If im going to have a note its gonna be for a new vehicle. So I bought a 19 yuk xl Denali, kept the 13 hoe and everyone was happy ( me :))

My only mod this week was using vise grips to hold my rear passenger window up after a regulator failure :doh2:
Hmmm, new mod I must’ve missed... will have to try soon...ive done the vise grips under motorcycle trailer for a 3000 mile road trip then 2 years until i went under to fix something and found them mod...

At least those regulators are an easy fix compared to older vehicles. So once you do fix it the job shouldn't be too bad to undertake.
