Stand alone dashcam's are getting pretty good, the real good ones are in Europe, I have my eye on this one lately
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kenwood-DR...ding-GPS-3-Axis-G-Sensor-144-New/123713401474

that one allows you to hook it up and i think it has a motion sensor that will turn on automatic recording if someone walks by your vehicle, most of them only start recording if someone hits the vehicle (after you have parked)
yeah I lied once that i had a dash cam scared the shit out of a Scammer that tried making a fraud claim on me... I asked him if he would like some jail time along with his family (as they were in on it) claiming false injury :whymewhyme::whymewhyme::Whoa::Whoa: (i told him his two stories he made up were on camera)

the SUV did not make contact the damage he has does not match anywhere on the SUV

it was high up in the tail light area the tail light had no damage

he got scared off I told him to look at the camera

(my back up camera Spoofed as if it was a dash camera LOL Owned...):win: :eek::eek::eek::eek::p:p:p:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::pokeowned::pokeowned::pokeowned::pokeowned:

I been rear ended before I only made a claim on the damage that was it...they gave me a 900$ check that was it way more then cost to fix it.. I saved it instead ... they gave me extra because they took a long time 2 years i should have only gotten about $450 (i got a few estimates it was $350 to $500 )

I recommend every one get a dash camera it really will save your ass

Working under vehicles is SO much fun.
make sure it's Correctly secured when you are working under it

one ******* did not correctly secure his jeep and it fell on him in the earthquake 7.1 or 6.4

another guy almost got crushed by just a few seconds as well..

if it was not for that ******* we would have had the PERFECT 7.0+ Earthquake that caused no deaths.

Let me guess....we should drill anchors into the concrete and use chain binders to securely attach the vehicle down. Tell me what in the f**k is going to keep a truck from falling off jack stands in a 7.1 earthquake? The shit you say, Brent. Holy crap you kill me.

it's not too hard to keep it from falling... use ramps

or stack some steel rims under(with tire)
if the tires are off type of work

doing that will buy you some space.

I’ve never done this myself. Aren’t the tranny pans on these GM trucks notoriously difficult to get off because of the exhaust pipe or something?
I’m a glutton for punishment ;) Hopefully I can pull the exhaust down far enough with some persuasion.
I need to do that. I assume the transmission pan doesn't have a drain plug. So I'll have to add one.
Nope, no plug. The pan needs to come off to change the filter anyways and clean out the magnet.

Replaced the MAF, MAP, Knock Sensor x2, removed tune and placed stock airbox back on to try and diagnose this madness my Yukon decided to do. When accelerating from a stop or under a load, falls flat on its face, bogs down and can here it popping through the intake. Idles absolutely fine, just only under acceleration. Only codes on my GM Tech 2 scanner is P0328 for a Knock Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 1. Replaced both knock sensors, cleared code and comes right back up.

I am lost on what it could be, my dad thinks I got a bad batch of fuel. I went through 1/4 tank with no problems then just hit out of no where.

Have you tried running injector cleaner through it? My parents had a 2000 gmc savanna van with the old 5.7 tb. One day it did what your going through. Could barely get passed 1/4 throttle to get up to speed. Changed out plugs wires and some other things I can’t remember. Took it to my uncles mechanic at the time. Ran what I think was Techron injector cleaner through it. Fixed it. Maybe that will help.
