The new interface has a control bar across the the bottom, so if you are in nav it has music control stop/play/ffw etc, and a quick notification button (the bell) then if you are in music it has a button back to nav, in the main menu your most recent used apps will be shown at the top

I can't get over how bright your HVAC displays are, mine are shit. Sometimes can barely see them at all. Very aggravating.

I have to ask, but where do you drive 90mph at, haha? I'd be afraid of getting tagged by a cop at that speed. It's not hard to miss a big SUV hurtling down the highway going 20 + over the limit, lol
90 around here on I-5 is barely above normal

Maybe somebody put button stickers on because the original buttons were worn out, and failed to remove the center parts of the old ones so now they’re dark?

No I mean the green digital parts of the display. His is bright as hell in bright sunlight. Mine don't even look that good in the dark.

the only place I have been scared to speed at is around DC/Virginia area, cant tell what is a cop or CIA or security, tons of unmarked-scary tons
radar detectors are illegal there I would have to do the hidden display, lol

btw. the tahoe's yukon's, escalade's suv's are least visible, least likely to get ticketed, there so big they just become part of the environment, contrary to what you would think.

what they did get me for was the plug wires $101.19, (list shows $144.55) I wasn't paying attention after getting the prices for the seals and just paid and split I didn't realize till later, I had seen them online for $56.00 but o'well to late now

integrate it to the cluster and use the factory chimes .. you can cut out a space and use the green tint to make it "factory looking" ..

ya that would be cool, valentine one has some options to hide it in the grill and then have the display wherever you want it, in that case you would want (2) one for the front and one for the rear, years ago they even made some that were built into the drivers side mirror but not very hidden that way and it was only for a lambo or something like that

or get one that will illuminate the blind spot led on the newer mirror (if you don't have that opt) that would be a custom mod

it would appear factory none the wiser about it

you could probably do that but the whole point of a valentine one is it tells you where the radar is, in front/back/side otherwise your chicken necking it looking around to see where the cop is.
as long as the display is not visible from the outside your unlikely to get caught with it.

That’s weird. Mine look like his. Wonder what’s going on with yours. Is the dimmer turned down?

No dimmer not turned down. It fluctuates. It ill be bright sometimes and other times you can barely see it. The radio display acts in sync and accordingly. I am trying to blame it on when the alternator output gets cut by the computer. But it's still over 12 volts. That shit should be bright regardless. One of the quirks of this truck I would love to get fixed. Sitting there in bright sunlight in traffic trying to adjust ac controls and you can't see a ***** thing.
