Yeah, I know those guys. I'm not one. Lots of types of Deadheads, which I really love. I'm more the "wish I lived south with a yard full of cars and a nice barn" type. Got hooked at age 14 and have a massive live collection, etc.

That being said, I'm a classically trained pianist and play many other instruments, both for fun and money, and my tastes are wide ranging.

For you, @Fosscore, imma fire up a little Dokken, as I ran into and got to hang /play a little with /for them this past summer.

Serious man? That is killer!
How was it and what did you play? Have been a fan for a long time but mostly the 80s stuff. I will run thru Back for the Attack, Breaking the Chains, etc...often.

Was excited they did the Japan tour even though I know George and Don can’t stand each other.

There was an episode IIRC that George has his car worked on by Counting Cars.

Found it here. 65 Riviera. @Sevenevez

Awesome. He had a badass new Camaro this summer. Murdered. Don't think I got any pics of it. They were playing in a theater next door to my gig at during an "artwalk" event. Caught them back stage and talked for a bit about the night. They played earlier than we did. Firing up the first set, I look down at the bar and sure enough, there they are! Talked/fiddled a bit at set break. Fun night!

AWESOME! My buddy down here who is a big 80s rock geek like me is going to poop his pants. Lol.

George’s guitar work is unmistakable. Rockin’ with Dokken will be on this weekend!

What a cool experience.

On that note of cars. I just watched the 2020 Mustang GT350 car #1 sell for $1.1M to the owner of BJ, Craig Jackson.

All donated to charity.

Friday/Saturday is stupid money.

Added air to my tires. It's been really cold and tire air pressure was only 32. I like them at 35-36.

Noticed a nickel sized piece of chrome peeling off right next to the tire valve on one wheel. It's like a small flap of chrome, and the wheel surface underneath the flap feels real sticky. Wonder if I should just let it be, peel it off, or maybe glue it down with a thin layer of epoxy or something?

You could "glue" it down and then take some clear nail polish and "seal" it up.

you must have just passed me, lol, you dodged a bullet on your timing over Shasta we just had a big storm about a day and a half ago, must have been a lot of Snow up there?
No snow accumulation on the road, it was coming down as I drove through but it wasn’t bad just some fog and snow. Grants was scetchy but Shasta was actually easier lol. From what it looks like I made the perfect call of when to come through snow and rain before and after I came through. As I’m typing this we’re crossing the Arizona border. Where you headed?

I live in Stockton so I figured since you were half way to Bakersfield that you must have just pasted thru, I take it you went thru Barstow and headed east on 40?, if you come back on 40 thru Flagstaff you can take a side trip on 180 north out of Flagstaff towards the south rim of the Grand canyon (it runs into 64) and I will tell that little 180 will take you thru the most beautiful country you may ever see I wish I could live right there about 1/2 way between Flagstaff and the Canyon. but anyway if you go that way and peek at the canyon you can then jump back on 40 west from 64 it's a nice little side trip if you have the time.

It was crazy simple to install once I dropped the spare tire. I am starting to realize I should have created a build page as the FEDEX and UPS drivers continue
to visit my house. Lol

Looking good. Nice stance.

Build page for sure especially with that suspension work so we know what you’ve done. :)

3.0 front and 5 rear. I contemplated removing the 1 inch spacers in the rear and putting air helper spring kit in I ordered, but I am likely going to wait until I put wheels on it.

Thanks for the numbers. Yours has the stance I want but I'm not sure if I want a 3" or 4" drop in the front. Probably end up at 3.5", knowing me. Yours also shows me that it'll be ok to run the stock 20" wheels with the drop... at least temporarily. ;) Does yours ride soft in the rear with those coils?

Thanks man. It’s not stiff but it squats with my kids in it so that’s the reason I ordered the helper bags. I am definitely happy I did the free travel mod before I lowered it though. The stock bump stops would have made for a rough ride.

That’s actually the exact route we took and it was absolutely beautiful! Then we ended up staying the night in flagstaff, also a beautiful place, it was like 18 degrees when we pulled in though, mom wasn’t to thrilled about it but I enjoyed the drive!
