Wait, what about 3rd row or jack ? Maybe its inside? Ideas....

Good points, but it’s definitely coming from under the truck on the passenger side. Isn’t the jack on the driver’s side? Driven without the third row in place and the sound was still there.

It’s not a major concern, per se, more an annoyance while, everything else is so nice and quiet. Meh...

I thought about that after I wrote it and laughed at the way it fell out. Decided not to change it. It's a little comforting to know I'm not the only one amused by such.

I'm a highly sophistimicated, mofo. Also subtle, very subtle.

How are your motor mounts? How about the transmission mount? My old 2005 made a similar noise and I found the bolt on the trans mount was loose.

The sound is in the rear, so no tie rods or struts to deal with. Tried the wheel shaking and it didn't move anywhere.

Shocks look good, but at 8 years and 130K miles, might not be a bad idea to consider changing them. As well as the struts in the front, of course.
ok, then did you check the bar that goes across behind the rear axle, it looks like a flat panhard bar (I don't know the name of it, but is it a panhard type bar), single bolt on each side, over time it wears out a bit and will make a clank noise, I had to replace mine, but you may get away with tightening it down real good and see if the noise goes away
looks very similar to this

So I found out how to disable the default backup lines on my head unit so I can use the better ones integrated in the camera. Nothing you can't learn on YouTube these days...

Much better:

You bring up a good point. I have a broken LH mount (and maybe a broken trans mount, too) and I swore the sound was coming from the back. Once I discovered what was making the sound, it now sounds like it's more towards the front. Just had to trick my mind... or is it "un-trick" it?

Was talking about your posts in general...

Meh. With work being so slow, I have extra time to fully express my thoughts. I'm also O-C about being thorough and grammatically correct. It's a burden at times and I'm sorry if it has inconvenienced you. But, I'm sure you'll get over it cuz you're a tough upstater. :)

Easy, Trigger! No butthurt at all and the grammar/punctuation thing wasn't directed at you or anyone. I was just saying it's something I do and it adds more words and characters to my posts. I can't even bring myself to shorthand texts.

Thank you for maintaining adult communication standards.

The shorthand stuff was spawned from the multi-tap days, before phones had QWERTY keyboards, so I don't see a need to try to drop vowels from words anymore. It's more difficult and takes more time to go out of my way to intentionally shorthand stuff than it does to exercise intelligence and education.

*sigh*

Here I go again, being all old and unhip and shaking my fist at the cool hipsters.

Yes. My work phone (Galaxy S6 Active) does this quite well. It's the only way I can get around it's HORRENDOUS and CRIPPLING auto-correcting. I wish my personal phone (iPhail5 with iOS8- LOL) had a Swype-like feature.

As per usual, it will take apple a couple years to catch up.
