I've been noticing a "pop" sound from the rear when going into and out of driveways and upon further diagnosis I discovered one of the rear bushings on my DJM rear endlinks is wasted. I had a problem with the fronts awhile back. Not real happy that I'm having another problem with a DJM product. Tony @NORCAL SS can you help me out since I bought these from you?

^ how many miles did those last (or rough idea on how long they were installed)?

no washer was installed which was part of the kit which inturn rips thru the bushing.

Please when you install the kits from me check the hardware list and if its not there tell me and I will get you the correct part. DO NOT INSTALL IF ALL PARTS ARE NOT THERE!

You're right that I didn't put a washer there; I don't know why I missed that although the pictures and description in the instructions don't show washers NOR do they mention washers. Like so many manufacturers, DJM's instructions are missing something that is critical. I mean, it should be obvious that washers should be installed there but if they at least say something about them there would be no question. Here's all they say : "Bolt the swaybar to the outside of the endlink using 1/2" x 2-3/4" bolts (Fig #7)" , and you can't see any washers in figure #7. I probably used one of the washers at the top of an endlink where it says to use factory hardware, maybe because one of the factory washers was missing, I'm not sure. Anyway, thanks for noticing that missing part.

Took my time over the last couple days and managed to get my valve covers, coils and new coil wiring harnesses installed. Still have to swap plugs and plug wires but I have to pull the front tires and inner fender liners to do that and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that. I'll give my shoulders a couple days to recuperate first. Still having a lot of pain and difficulty. My right one makes popping sounds constantly and when it does that a few times it flares up. I'm running out of patience.

Nice, but I was looking at Wilwoods front and back for about $4k; those are $2500 just for the front. And besides...

He spent his big brake kit $$$ on a Chevy Cruze. What a dad!
Yes I did. But my daughter is one happy girl. She loves that car.

Buddies gf had a cruze, very nice car. I'm a decent sized dude, fit in the front fine, back was tight but I'm tall and big. Good value for a car.

Excellent news! Are you going to buy the bike back?
No; it has a bent frame and besides that I'm done with bikes. The only way to resurrect that bike would be to cut the part with the VIN out of the frame and send it to HD to make a new frame with the same VIN and even then the title would say salvage. I decided to quit riding after this anyway.

Everything with the new trans and driveline parts seems to be holding up well so....ordered a 3.375 pulley for the Whipple today to replace the 3.75 that came with it. Boost should go from 6 to 9 psi. Woo-hoo. Justin at BB said I'll be at the limit of my PCM as far as airflow. Possibly could go to a 2-bar tune, whatever that is, if I want more. I'm thinking I'll be good. Thing is already a beast.
