Installed new kicker door speakers in my 99 burb obs. Found out that the rear door speakers have their own little amp under the dash. Was wondering why I didnt have any sound. Now to replace the tweeters by the window switches, the roof speakers in the rear and get a nice 4 channel amp.

Finished my Efan and dual battery setup, new 1/0 gauge power wires, 200amp Stinger isolater, Derale adjustable fan controller, procomp fans and beer! Well the beer helped with the Texas heat!

Where did you find that little amp? I've been wanting to take mine out of the picture!

If im correct its right under the dash by the 3 power outlets. If your looking up and to the passenger side from the driver side floor you should see it. silver with fins on in. Ill snap a pic when i get home. Bout the size of a small box of hand gun ammo.

Did a little tweaking to my efan and dual battery setup, including some abs spacers to help keep my fuse block, and fan control a little cooler. Maybe after I come back from South Padre Island I'll get it all permanently situated

Finally got around to replacing the blown airbag modules (after 2.5 years, because insurance got on my case about it being registered out of state. So now I get to make it pass safety and emissions. Now it'll pass safety, but I need O2 sensors. Also, I flexed it to measure for new shocks.

Got my new filler neck in today, quite the hunt to find both pieces as most only list the upper half. Mine is looking quite crusty at the moment. Going to POR it and try and slap it on before I leave for vacation.

Crawled underneath the 99 Yukon to trace a transmission leak. Didn't pinpoint the leak but found there are no bolts holding the trans mount to the trans. Now to find out if they are metric or sae bolts.....

I crawled under mine today to change the oil and fix my oil leak. I expected a bad hose but apparently someone who had it before had taken the hoses off a put plugs in. So that made it easier to narrow down to the cooler gasket and O'ring. If it starts leaking again I'm going to order a bypass adapter.

Pulled the front end off and gave it a good cleaning and fresh coat of black paint with a rust coating under. Made sure the new lower grille piece from lmc was the right piece and prepped it for paint. Added some led interior lights and got the original gmc grille ready to go back in when the new headlights show up. Also got all new led bulbs.

Put in two brand new group 78 batteries to replace my mismatched batteries, since they were reading different voltages...
