I wish I knew why no one believes me when I state these things. lol

I don't believe you.:D

Really, though- I could hear a difference in the way mine sounded. It's very very slight, but there is a difference. It's almost only noticeable when in AFM mode, but I could hear the faint difference when idling.

I'm not running a factory muffler but go ahead and continue believing in the myth about the resonator :waytogo:

Cause its a resonator, it resonates sounds. Why did gm put it on? spend time and money and research for that part? What the purpose of life?

Cuz GM does not make smart choices at least 50% of the time (probably higher)

....and the purpose of life = rainbows and butterflies lol

Well I spun out on a muddy trail looking for a place to camp last weekend and hit a tree head-on.
Dropped the Tahoe off at my body shop today and it looks like a week of downtime and $2800. Insurance doesn't cover offroad collisions. :rage:

Oh well I needed to get the hood, bumper, and front quarter panels repainted before all this anyway.

haha yea man I wish I could afford one but they cost more than $2500 by themselves! Why can't somebody come up with a cheaper design!

Hit the tree just left of the Bowtie. It pretty much ripped the bumper cover off, bent the hood up, and bent the impact bars behind the bumper. No frame damage though.

Better than I envisioned, but still sorry to see that. Hope she gets fixed up properly and in good time.

Oh yea, forgot to mention that my Brother just bought a 06 Sierra SLT and wants my Texans. Were most likely going to swap rims in the future. This is what he has :)

Resonators basically eliminate the drone at certain speeds/rpms so it doesn't make a huge difference under all driving conditions but it does under certain driving conditions. My 2 cents but believe what you want.... Lol

..replaced Blend Door Actuator today, kinda of a ***** to get the 1 kick panel bolt removed and the far bolt on the actuator(drivers side), but with a 5.5mm allen key into 1/4 drive 7/32 socket worked ok, at least got close to the right stack height to access the bolts....

I'd love to see the 'special tool' the techs use to do this job...

BTW- does anyone else have issue when Fueling up with the gas tank pressure build up trigger the pump to shut off?....I had ever since my rig was new and have always just put up with it and stood there babysitting the pump....just curious if there's a quick fix?

Pretty sure those are oem 07 classic silverado ltz rims.
Either way chrome would look much better on yours.
I approve of this swap.
