I don't know about Alaska, but not here. I don't see how that would be illegal anywhere. When surplus police vehicles go to auction, they get decommissioned, all police equipment get removed. This tag just shows an option, basically. People drive decommissioned crown Vic's all the time with those tags still on, including taxis.

I know it's illegal everywhere, having anything that says police anywhere on your car is illegal, impersonating an officer I guess.

For now I have 4 switchbacks upfront, 1 resistor for 2 bulbs. 2 resistors only.
Plan to add led bulbs in the rear with resistors but I'm gonna try a different signal relay instead , and hopefully that works for everything and I can take out the resistors all together

Did you use a 50w 6ohm for both bulbs? Was each resistor for a 3157 and 1194 bulb? I'm looking to do this mod but can't quite figure out what is needed for converting all 4 to led.

To correct a rapid flash, an electronic flasher module (made for LED's) should be all you need. It won't correct cruise control or brake light issues though.

I used one inline 50w 6ohm resistor for 2 bulbs. 4 bulbs 2 resistors. 194 side marker bulb has no effect of hyper flash so it doesn't need to be tied into the resistor.

I was gonna get the electronic flasher but I heard it's only good for one set (2 bulbs) to fix hyper flash. It sucks cause I was excited to rip out those ugly resistors, oh well.

Yea I'm guessing 00-02 has a different flasher than the 03-06. This one might work for more that 1 pair of bulbs.

Thanks...Does it fit without cutting? Comes up as 1.4 x 1.5". The stock one is 1 1/16 x 1 1/16". I've read some posts that said the fuse box had to be cut for it to fit. Also, how many leds u running through it? Says 3-6 led on the link, 1-6 on Novita site
