Well I just purchased my dream ride.
2014 Escalade Premium in WDT

Purchased it certified from a Cadillac dealership.

To say I'm thrilled is an understatement.
Ive wanted this body style Escalade since 2012 and seeing Soulsea's 2012 was the real kick in the ass to start saving up for one. ;)

Let the mods begin...

I am with you. That's my fav escalade. I would love one but then people would think I make too much money and showing off. I own a 300 limited and get that now and I think the car is crap lol. We drive the taho more than the car.
Good job saving and purchase. Looking forward to the mods

Beautiful Escalade, OP! Looks pristine. Take good care of that WDT paint and it will turn heads for years to come. I particularly like the way mine looks at dusk.

I would love one but then people would think I make too much money and showing off.

Hell, I drive a 2009 Suburban and still get this crap sometimes, especially since my line of work isn't exactly known as high wage earning. I also get the "you paid that much? For a 7 year old 100k mile truck? You could have gotten a nearly new [insert compact car here] for that price!!" Fair, but I didn't want a nearly new compact car. I don't even tell people how much I paid anymore when they ask, just say I got a decent deal. Saves me the headache.

Thanks for the love fellas!
The only thing that concerns me are the power folding mirrors. I have to collapse them in order to park in my garage, (single 8ft door).
I hope I don't wear out the motor in the mirrors, heard they're prone to breaking.

This baby rides like a cloud!

Congrats man!

I just went through this same dilemma, and ended up buying a 2012 Yukon Denali XL. The Escalade turns too many heads in the area where I live, enough for it to be a problem, and quite possibly a negative magnet, including the cops. I went with the Denali because it's actually low-key by comparison. Almost like a sleeper. :-D

Yeah not a fan of chrome and the Platinums have too much of it.
The body colored accents on the Premiums really take the Esky's to the next level in looks.

Nice ride and thanks for reminding us that saving up to buy something is still alive. The drop will set it off. Make sure you get the right parts and the installer knows how to adjust the rods used to level your ride. Doing the back is fairly easy with springs but I needed help with the front spindles. We have a shop here that works on big rigs so they do alignments the old fashioned way. Worked great and congrats on your dream truck.
