Everyone list what you have had done for your tune! Get into detail and how much you've noticed a difference.

Do it in a list style...not paragraph style *cough* ..RT *cough*....haha ;)





This is a quick list I just made...what else have you guys added to your tune?
I want throttle response to be INSTANT

I have K&N CAI Intake
I have Flowmaster Dual Exhaust
I have 305/40/22 - Wheels/Tires

I want Torque Management Removal - tired of hitting gas to floor before truck moves..

I want Shift Firmness changed...I want it to shift as hard/quick as possible

I want Shift Points to be at the most powerful RPM (I know it would have to be dyno'd to be exact)

when I had my tune done I had nothing done to the truck. Now I have an exhaust and intake. And it feels great. E-fans, cam, heads, injectors, headers. Really gunna do everything the vette got to it, and I will get a retune, but even stock I noticed a Huge difference. IM going to get an intake for the yukon and get that tuned here very soon I hope.

So before the tune...you had no mods...

what did you have tuned if you had no parts on it?

and for the intake and exhaust...did you have it re-tuned to include those?

yes i have a tune but wasnt there to know what they did...... my mom took it down there....... but i talked to justin while he was doing it and said i got the whole deal

I dont know and dont care. All I know is my truck felt like a brand new truck. I think getting ride of torque management is one thing. But Im sure a bunch of optimising is done too. Also he got rid of the tranny slip from first to 2nd.

The greatest improvement is the driveability, not just the power. I can give it 60% throttle and it will immediately drop gear and have power. Also I'm no longer concerned about being hit while getting across an intersection quickly. The reduction in torque management allows me to control the vehicle much easier and lets me walk the ass out around corners without having to worry if my truck will pull power and cause me to lose control. Shifting is 100% better and the gear hunting has been completely eradicated. The truck drives better under 1/4 throttle or wot. I'm hoping Justin can pull a bit more out of the truck tomorrow when I drive to the springs for a retune. I think with some headers and a good tune you'll be quite pleased with the throttle response even with those heavy ass wheels of yours.

No the truck learns quickly. I had him turn off the egr for my headers and activate the pinout for efan switch. Longtubes made the most difference aside from the tune. Truck makes gobs of power at any rpm. I love racing people from a 20 or 30mph roll...drops gear and pulls hard.
