Did ya break out the sawzall to remove the side skirts?

No but I did remove one bracket and thought this can't be right so fired up the Google and sure enough you turn a middle bolt and they come right off.Did ya break out the sawzall to remove the side skirts?

The plan is to carpet the trunk and build sides so that it is all finished out and nice looking. My biggest thing right now is what color to finish it in.Once you get it how you want it I assume you'll get some carpet in the trunk?
That is the plan but not sure what speakers I will use yet. Going to finish this project then do the headunit.Are you going to put some speakers back there too?

It would be good to see it with a 6.0 in there. I have an 76 El camino and have had it for years but just didnt know what to do with it, I like it but don't love it. but I think the kids and I will drag it up in the spring and drop a LS 6.0 in there and have some fun with that. I hope I can luck out on another LQ9
