I think this means 30%?

The "number" usually means how much light it lets IN..
So 5% is limo tint. 35% is legal for side windows in most states.
So Yours is 70% built into the glass itself already. You'll need to do
the math to get it to match the other windows (if that's what you're asking)

I think the problem is there is tint over the factory tint windows so i have no idea what it is.
I kinda think the 70% on the window is the stock window marking and is actually meaningless with the tint over it.
So if stock without tint over it 70% would mean that is how much light passes through the glass. Got it!
Suc*s as the closest window tint place is over an hour away.

As mentioned above, 70% is essentially clear glass.

From the looks of the open door photo, I would guess that is somewhere around 35% film applied to it but really hard to say from a photo.

The factory rear tint is around 18%-20%. Assuming no film has been added.

So if you want the front to match the rear you need to apply a 20% film. But as mentioned 35% on the front doors is legal in most states.

I'm not sure what state you are in but down here in FL they don't normally mess with you for window tint unless they are just looking for an excuse to pull you over and check you out.

If you are looking to have the tint redone on the truck I would highly recommend a Ceramic window film as they block a ton of heat as well as about 99% of the UV rays which are really ******* (hard-on) the interior parts. You can even have the entire windshield tinted with a 70% film and you won't even be able to tell it has been done.

I have 70% on the windshield of my Burb and 50% on the windshield of my Honda that I use for work. If/when I have the windshield replaced on the Burb it will be getting 50% next go around.

***EDIT 1***
I forgot about the word nazis around here censoring stupid words so I had to go back and edit my post.

***EDIT 2*** evidently nazis isn't censored... yet.

If it's add-on tint, you may not need a new window. Remove the tint. Test the degree of tint on that window, and on one of the windows that's still wearing the add-on tint. The difference should be your answer.

I don't know how to test it.
Im thinking 35% smoke might be a good try. The new (used) window had gray tint on it and looked horrible to me.
Im actually not sure how the front door tint looks compared to the rest. Never noticed i guess.

You can buy a tester. Cops carry them in their pockets. Glass or tint shops can test for you.
