09- GMC Sierra 1500. Need a new front diff 3.42. I found one local out of a 2015 Silverado 3.42. Looks exactly the same, but I have read that GM changed the frame on the 2015's and about so maybe it won't bolt up correctly. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,
Dan

If your willing to pay shipping I’m picking up a 07 avalanche I’m pretty sure it’s 4x4 and if so there’s you a front diff with 160,000 on it

I know we have the sticky for Tech2 owners map. It’s a wildcard idea but it would be pretty cool to have a going my way thread for heavy parts or oddball sized things to throw in our vehicles for other owners if we’re traveling from state to state.

I work for UPS and the stuff dealerships and part suppliers ship raw and unpackaged is unfrickicking believable. Brake lines, axles, gas tanks, brake discs, etc

Everything I see shows that they are the same. The brackets that support them to the frame may be different so it would work on the various frames it was used on from the 1980s to 2020 or so.

I used to do local sort at UPS, and yeah, the amount of oversized items that would come down the chutes was dangerous.

Entire Toyota truck transmissions on pallets or in crates. Lots of tool & die equipment.... your in the middle of the zone scanning and stacking and you have no clue that shoebox sized package is a solid injection holding die, and actually weighs 68lbs.
