If your sierra / silverado has a door panel like this, a tahoe/yukon/escalade panel wil NOT fit.

Actually you can convert it over by swapping over the cables on the door handles off a ltz if I’m not mistaken? However without swapping to a ltz dash it lines up funny and the dash swap is a way more tedious project then the Somewhat simple door panel swap

You touched on the main points for sure. It could possibly be converted over.

I don't consider it a swap though, due to the trim not lining up, changing out the cable, the door not looking the same as the rest of the interior and missing one securing bolt in the process.

This is a diamond thread. My buddy has a 13 Silverado that has both front door panels toasted.

Here’s the kicker question … can the Escalade panels be used across other models?

I read a bit more … yes!

No. If the Chevy or GMC has heated and/or ventilated seats, you cannot use Escalade door panels. The Escalade has the seat buttons in the HVAC control head and the opening for the inside door handle is smaller. The driver panel only has the driver 1/2 buttons and the passenger panel has no buttons at all.

I used them on my ltz but your correct I swapped my window buttons out so it had the plug for my heated seats and my redneck ass ran the heated seat button behind the triangle trim piece where the mirror bolts on at
So when someone rides and asks how to cut the seats off I just tell em to look behind that cover lol

This is my 2013 Sierra that needs a driver panel. Has anyone tried swapping this type of panel with one from a yukon/Tahoe/Escalade?

Looks like you have an extended cab since it has the indention for the seat belt retractor so you’re going to need the extended cab panel. If you had a crew cab, the panel would be the same as a SUV.

Bummer. Thanks for the info though. I’ll narrow my search.

That’s a really good factoid about the extended cab’s notch on the lower panel.
