I see BBP sells Maggie pulleys in 2.8, 3.2 and 3.4 but I don't see any for the Whipple's.

@sumo what injectors are you running @ 10 lbs of boost? Justin said the 8.1L marine injectors that come with the Whipple kit are only good to 9 lbs of boost and the others he's talking about are $$$$.

It looks like the Whipple is only about $250 more than the Maggie. @sumo was that the standard pulley size? I see they come in 3 sizes and that is the middle one. Smaller pulley= more boost correct?

Standard is 3.7 and it up to 7 psi

Ok. The 8.1L marine ones are rated for 42 per hour. I wonder if there's any quality 60 lb ones for around the same price though just in case later down the road.

Curious, what are you trying to make hp wise?
No specific goal but 450-500 would be nice. I guess it depends on what the 4l65E and transfer case can handle without making them unreliable. But in case I later decide to do a 4L80 and AWD delete I'd like to be ready to make more by adding boost and a cam/ headers.

You don't have to. If you plan on making bigger boost you should. it's not included in the Maggie kit

Yeah Justin said he's done 7 blowers without doing it, one running 12 lbs of boost. I think if I was pushing it that hard, I would. It's weird though because I've read several times that we should any time forced induction is used on an LS.

So while I wait for my tax return, it's giving me time to wonder if I'm crazy to throw this much money at a 2002 Denali with 150,000 miles on it. Maybe just a nice cam would be enough lol.

Psssshh. All that concerns goes out the window after it's installed. It's like driving a brand/used truck all over again. Takes a little time to relearn how to drive it. My stability trac and trac control hates it lol

I would think the larger whipple wouldn't be as loud. It would probably be putting out more boost that a stockist setup couldn't handle or u would need meth to get the same amount of sound.. listen to JKS screaming banshee..mp112 . Seen these go for as low as $2k used with low miles on them.

What blower is that? As far as the Whipple, if needed the pulley can be swapped out for more boost than I would want.
Edit: Magnuson correct?
