My hose looks diff from all the other ones I've seen. There's something on the end of the hose? Is it the PCV? Does it need to be taken off before seafoam? It's pretty nasty looking. Is this the right hose?

It's the 5.3l

the tube in your hand in last pic is the pcv tube, that in the end of hose is the valve. it wont want to come out after being in there so long, but pull and twist on it and itll slide out. i think poured the seafoam in a cup, and use the hose in your hand to suck it up

I just did a seafoam today through that hose. I don't think it's a pcv valve because mine didn't have anything in it. Just basically a spacer. Regardless, that's where I put the seafoam in and it sucked it up just fine.

It's not the PCV valve. It's the vacuum line ya want. I just replaced my PCV valve. Here is the vacuum line you need to pull.

This is your PCV.

I connected a cone to my hose and pour it in that way.

What year? Your setup may be different than defendhawaii if it is newer with hydroboost.

Now that I look at the first picture again it looks like you have the older setup I can see part of the brake booster.

Nice vid tlrmade. How many miles on your truck and did you notice any differences? I've read up on the seafoam treatments many times, and just curious what real world results are. Lack of smoke means not as bad of build up?
