When towing a heavy trailer, what do you suggest for tire pressure?

When towing a heavy trailer, what do you suggest for tire pressure? michelin tires 99 Tahoe. I had mine at 37 psi. The tires didn't get hot.
Someone said pump them up so the tires look the same height all the way around the tire.

Start at highest psi on sidewall and work down. Not low to hi.

There shouldn't be enough weight on the trailer tongue to have to go crazy with tire pressure.

Whatever your standard pressure is on the door sticker is enough pressure to support the maximum load of the rear axle.

I've never had to put more air in my tires when towing but I don't cross deserts or mountains in my travels.
