I ran into a major problem with my brake setup today. My offroad RBP tires are practically bald, so I went to a local America's Tire shop to swap out my 24's for the stock wheels. I've only had them on the vehicle for 3 months, so they sat in my garage until today. I have an 8 pot brake setup from Brembo, so they're not the typical OEM set you'd get from the dealership. Needless to say, the stock wheels don't clear the center bore/hub anymore, so I'm stuck. It's a wonder why I hadn't discovered this sooner after all these years, but it is what it is. This basically means that I'm stuck with my forged wheels indefinitely, or until I return my brakes back to stock. I'm not too upset about it because I still like the aggressive look of my 24x14's, but it's a headache to deal with if I ever have to install another wheel that'll clear the calipers.

Aside from the center bore of the stock rims being a few millimeters smaller up front, I'd also need to go with a 22 inch wheel to clear those calipers. The rear setup is just fine. So now, I'm rolling with the forged wheels up front, and the stock wheels in the back. It looks a little ghetto, but it's only until I can inflate my Atturo Trail Blades - which has a rock hard rubber compound, making it literally impossible to mount, even with a 1/2 inch stretch. With the tires currently off two of the rims, I may take advantage and correct any barrel warping.

Anyone know if the fuel rebels 20” w +20 offset on 285/55r20 ridge grapplers fit on a 25 Yukon at4. Calipers. I know it will in height. Guessing the +20 will push past fenders less than an inch, +1 about an inch ?

It’s hard to know for sure. All comes down to spoke pattern. Worst case you have to run a small spacer.

Fuel Rebels 20x9 with +20 offset easily clear the standard brakes on newer trucks. I’m running a set on my ‘22 Tahoe High Country.

You'll probably find the +20 offset with a 285 will be close to flush but shouldn't protrude.
