2024 AT4 Wheel Liner Trimming

My wife and I purchased a 2024 Yukon XL AT4 in Nov, 2024. This forum was greatly helpful in deciding wheel specs to achieve the desired look we wanted. We installed AT4W 35x11.5 tires on Fuel 20x9 20mm offset wheels. This truck is an air ride model so we purchased links from www.edgymods.com. Once the tires and wheels, along with the links, were installed we had rubbing on the front and back sides of the wheel liners. The Wescott Designs liner brackets were installed which took care of the back sides of the wheel liners. The front of the liners were addressed yesterday. Here's a photo with the liner removed on our truck:

We needed to create some tire clearance but did not want to trim the liner, we want to keep it looking as factory as possible. Here's the structure roughly trimmed up:

This was cleaned up but allowed the liner to still be secured from the bottom without trimming. I don't think anyone would ever see the difference now that it's finished:

This gave us enough clearance for the tire to fully turn both directions without rubbing and allowed room for suspension travel.

I did mine similarly in the wheel well, but I need to revisit it again because it continually rubs for some reason. I used zip ties on the fender liner, but the stress of driving, vibrations, and turns is causing some variations of how the liner is sitting inside the fender well. I think what I need to do is remove the front wheels and just spend a few hours to cut deeply into the bumper and possibly the rear wheel well to fix the problem once and for all. Mind you, I switched from 33's to 35's, so that's where the problem started. I had zero turning issues with my 33's, and didn't have to modify the fenders or bumper any further than what it was a the time. The smoothness of the ride was okay, but the ride quality is even better with my 35's. Plus visually, the 35's fill up the wheel wells and give it a beefier stance.

Zero issues with 33’s with or without a lift? I want to go 33x12.5 on a plus 18 but don’t want to lift it.

I've had zero issues with 33's. In fact, it's about time that I swap out my current tires, so I'll be going back down to 33's in the next few weeks.
