What have you done to your truck lately?

So this weekend I replaced pads, rotors, and hardware on the front, tinted my tail lights, changed out dash and door bulbs, painted a few things under the hood, and washed it. What have you done to yours lately?

There is an accessory post there, and I already have 3 terminals on my battery. I have been running around 14.2v to my cap.

Completely washed and detailed my truck over the weekend. Looks shitloads better now, but I think I found a few spots which may need to be wetsanded. Also recently replaced a tail-light bulb. Up next (and probably in this order) : Sound system, HIDS, LED tails, Tires.

Where'd you get the gears from? I was interested in changing from 3.42's to something in the 3.73 or 3.91 range..until a local shop quoted me $1,500 for the gears and installation.

i replaced upper ball joints, upper control arm bushings new wheels tires,5 over the factory 20 tint,and ranch hand full replacement tomorrow!!

Well dropped in a mildly rebuilt tranny. This was the carnage that forced that unexpected repair.

Prior to that; upper/lower balljoints, ujoints, tires, shock bushings, and then reapplying the damn glue for the rearview mirror.

Gotta love these old trucks. At least it's been paid off forever.

i orderd up the best headlights avalible... tycs. also got 3inch body lift comming cb antennas and fender brackets. still need to install console too and change one of my marker lights cuz its yellow and bugs me. on the search for tires too and bumpers

I'm a newbie on this board, and I just got my '97 2 door Tahoe 3 months ago. I have left it in my friend's garage for a few upgrades before winter. I just put on a 6" Rough Country lift, Flowmaster exhaust, and new front brakes. There is a coolant leak up front that needs to be looked into, and I'm shopping for 35" tires to wrap the stock rims. For inside, I have an Alpine head unit, Infinity Kappas all around the inside, and 2 Kicker Freeair 12" subs in a bandpass to install once I get the truck back. There is a lot more I want to do (including repairing minor damage and a new paint job) but that's all in the future...
