Have any of you swapped out your Denali tail lights for something else?

I definitely don't love the tail lights on my '23 Denali. I'm considering swapping them out for the '25+ tails (either Denali or Tahoe ones), but know that nothing will line up with the '23 horizontal lights set into the tailgate... Also, I think I'd have to get new harnesses to accept the '25+ tails, but I think Gen5DIY makes/sells them...

The Denali lights, pre and post '25 have "GMC" stamped in the tails under the lenses. Do the Tahoe tails have "Chevy" stamped on them? (I light the light shape of the Tahoe tails, but having "Chevy" visible would be a dealbreaker.)

I'd also probably pull the bulbs of the tailgate lights if I went with '25+ lights...

Just kicking it all around right now. Anyone change up their Denali tails for something different?

Why do you think the Denali and Tahoe lights aren't interchangeable? They definitely look like they'd be interchangeable. It's just the aesthetic of the existing tailgate-mounted Denali lights along side non-Denali lights that I'd be concerned with.

The Denali hatch looks like the top edges are sunken to allow the lights to move toward the center.

I’m not asking about the horizontal, small lights that attach to the tailgate itself— just the corner-mounted tail lights. They appear to have identical shapes across the Chevy and GMC models. Their surfaces aren’t all uniform, but they look like they’d all be interchangeable in terms of being able to be mounted into the various models’ bodies.

This is a bold move but have you considered the one's on Ebay? Taillights

I wouldn't mind the look of the larger running lights from the 25+ Yukons but feel the Tahoe lights looks best on a Tahoe since they dont have the tailgate lights in their design.

Thanks for that link. Yes, I've been eyeing those (or ones similar to those) -- and I agree that the rub against the Tahoe lights is how they'd look along side the existing tailgate lights. It's ultimately the limiting factor. But those lights you linked to replace the tailgate lights with matching ones, and so they look like the best solution so far.
