I love having my kid home. He is the best at shopping FB marketplace. Grabbed two, rust free, great shape black fenders, $60 for the pair. Grabbed a good driver door at LKQ. Looks like the first weekend in Feb, Ol' FrankenBetty is gonna get some love. Going to replace the dash, left door, both fenders, scrub/ospho/seal the roof, and possibly paint the hood. Also going to fix the blender doors when we pull the dash. I decided against rhino-line.

Awesome! Don’t forget to share some progress pics with us. Sounds like she’s getting a lot of love. [emoji16][emoji106]

Found a KFC box behind the right front head light and I found a scallop knife under the radiator. I also found about 60 lbs of red mud all under the truck.
I can understand the mud, But a KFC Box behind the headlight?? And what's up with the scallop knife? Especially under the radiator?? Weird.

Wow. Just wow.
Dude so much about this truck has been wow, just wow. Everything is an epic battle. I'm going to put together the crappiest junkyard Hoe build thread when I get most of everything squared away. I did get some bonus goodies today! My hubby is real good friends with our local fab/racecar shop. I got gifted with 2 amps and a 12" sub! Gonna have those boom booms in my ride

Can't beat free. I'm not really an audiophile, but I've heard Sound Stream us pretty good.

It's brake day!!! And it's cold as balls here in Florida (relatively speaking). Come home from hunt camp where I was contemplating short sleeves to this morning where it was 40.

Hehehe. It’s been in the 20’s and 30’s here in Co the last several weeks. (Which is still shorts / tee shirt weather for me) this week, supposed to be in the 50’s all week! w00t! Just doing pads / rotors, or something else? What pads and rotors are you running?

Sam-had to replace the hard brake lines for the left rear as a piece of granite got wedged between the frame rail and line and wore a hole in it. Ordered a whole brake line kit from inline tube and it was a perfect fit. Nothing special on rotors or pads, probably the daily driver special from Rock Auto. But she stops again. Next thing to happen today, she's gonna get her rust spots on the roof scrubbed, ospho'd and rust incapsulator applied. Slowly but steadily.

Replaced some blown speakers with some Crutchfield clearance Kickers. Much better even with stock HU. Gotta love the plug and play freebies.

Troubleshooting ignition system...driving much better now even with cheap AT e-rated tires. Not my favorites but practically free.
